Seoul shares open lower after third straight daily gain

SEOUL (Reuters) - Seoul shares opened slightly lower on Monday after their third consecutive daily rise on Friday, touching a five-month high.

Index heavyweight Samsung Electronics Co (005930.KS) eased 0.2 percent in early trade on Monday after another U.S. patent defeat to Apple (AAPL.O).

The Korea Composite Stock Price Index (KOSPI) .KS11 fell 0.06 percent to 2,006.44 points minutes after the market open.
