Russia's Putin says backs central bank policy

MOSCOW (Reuters) - Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Thursday he was backing the central bank’s monetary policy and its measures aimed at ensuring macroecoomic stability.

Putin, speaking at his annual news conference, also said the central bank’s key rate should come down naturally as inflation risks subside.
