White House expects decision on UN climate treaty by late May

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The White House on Thursday said it was reviewing the UN global climate accord and expects a decision on whether to remain a party to the deal by the time leaders of the Group of Seven nations meet in late May.

"We are currently reviewing issues relating to the agreement and expect to have a decision by the time of the G7 summit, late-Mayish, if not sooner," White House spokesman Sean Spicer told a media briefing.
