NECKARSULM, Germany, May 18 (Reuters) - Audi Chief Executive Rupert Stadler told the carmaker's annual shareholder meeting that efforts to clear up the emissions scandal are far from over.
"We will continue until the job is done, with the tenacity that our company is well known for," Stadler said on Thursday, according to a prepared speech text.
Audi's Chinese sales, which plunged 18 percent between January and April, keep falling significantly amid a dispute with dealers in the Volkswagen division's largest market, Stadler said. (Reporting by Andreas Cremer; Editing by Maria Sheahan)
