Putin tells Georgia spy flights foment tension
MOSCOW (Reuters) - Russian President Vladimir Putin told Georgian leader Mikhail Saakashvili on Monday flights of unmanned Georgian spy planes over Georgia's rebel Abkhazia province were whipping up tension in the region.
"Vladimir Putin expressed his bewilderment by the very fact of Georgia making flights with military purposes over the conflict zone and stressed ... this is a destabilising factor escalating tension," the Kremlin said in a statement.
