Hamas boycotts Palestinian reconciliation meeting - sources

DAMASCUS (Reuters) - Hamas has told Egypt officially it will boycott a Palestinian reconciliation conference in Cairo on Sunday because its demands for what it terms as serious dialogue have not been met, Palestinian sources said on Saturday.

"Hamas told Egypt this morning. They're waiting a few hours before making the announcement in case something dramatic happens, but this is unlikely," a Palestinian politician in the Syrian capital told Reuters.
