Russia overcome wobble to clinch team gold
LAUSANNE (Reuters) - Maxim Deviatovski recovered from a sloppy performance on the pommel horse to lead Russia to victory in the team competition at the men's European gymnastics championships on Saturday.
The defending champions eclipsed Germany by almost three points with a total of 272.450.
Romania failed in their bid to win the team title they had last won in 2004 and had to settle for bronze, earning 268.950.
