BEIJING (Reuters) - South Korean lightweight Baik Jong-sub has pulled out before his Olympic quarter-final bout against Armenian Hrachik Javakhy because of an injury, organisers said on Tuesday.

His withdrawal means Javakhyan advances to the semi-finals by walkover to make sure of at least a bronze medal.

Baik did not attend the mandatory medical examination before the weigh-in because of chest pain resulting from an injury sustained in an earlier bout.
