Murray frustrated as rain disrupts Rome Masters
By Paul Virgo
ROME (Reuters) - Fourth seed Andy Murray's match against Argentine qualifier Juan Monaco was postponed as rain continued to disrupt the Rome Masters for a second day running on Tuesday.
The Briton's clash was one of two second-round singles matches pushed into Wednesday, along with Croatian 15th-seed Marin Cilic's encounter with Belgian Christophe Rochus. A number of doubles matches were also cancelled for the day.
Spanish 13th seed Tommy Robredo survived a delayed start and a lengthy rain interruption to see off former world number one Marat Safin. Their first-round match had originally been scheduled for Monday.
Serbia's Novak Djokovic, who had a bye to the second round along with the other top seeds, was due to start his title defence against Spain's Albert Montanes later on Tuesday.
