Hushovd wins stage six in Catalunya

BARCELONA, Spain (Reuters) - Norwegian Thor Hushovd won the sixth stage of the Tour of Catalunya from Torredembarra to Barcelona on Saturday.

Second behind the Cervelo rider in the bunch sprint which decided the hilly 150.5-km stage was Fabio Sabatini of Italy. New Zealander Greg Henderson was third.

Spaniard Alejandro Valverde retained the overall lead ahead of Irishman Dan Martin and Spaniard Haimar Zubeldia.
