Wedding or match, Roddick gets it done fast

PARIS (Reuters) - Andy Roddick has applied the same philosophy to his best French Open showing as he did to his wedding last month -- get it done quickly.
The American sixth seed has not dropped a set on his way to reaching the Roland Garros fourth round for the first time, disposing of Frenchman Marc Gicquel 6-1 6-4 6-4 on Saturday.
He similarly wasted little time marrying model Brooklyn Decker in April.
"The ceremony took all of 15 minutes," he told reporters.
"As far as marriage goes or affecting anything, I was training during the whole time. It's not like I took six weeks off. I might have taken a day off."
The training has clearly paid off and Roddick said he had never been in better shape.
"As far as consistently throughout the year ... especially putting in the work, week to week and dietary changes and stuff, I think it's the most consistent (in terms of fitness) I've been," he said.
Training with coach Larry Stefanki since the end of 2008, Roddick has made adjustments to his already devastating serve. Continued...
