Valverde wins Dauphine Libere
GRENOBLE, France (Reuters) - Spaniard Alejandro Valverde won the Dauphine Libere stage race on Sunday for the second successive year.
Australian Cadel Evans was second overall and Spaniard Alberto Contador in third.
Dutchman Stef Clement won the race's final stage, a mountainous 146-kilometre trek from Faverges to Grenoble. American Timothy Duggan was second and Sebastien Joly of France third.
