Name Description

Theo Osanakpo

Dr. Theo Chike Osanakpo is Chairman of the Board of First Inland Bank Plc. He holds an LLB (Hons) degree from University of Lagos (1977), Bachelor of Law from the Nigerian Law School (1978), Masters in Comparative Law and PhD in Law from the Southern Methodist University, Dallas (1981) and the University of Exeter, England (1984) respectively. A practicing legal practitioner, Dr. Osanakpo (SAN), having distinguished himself in his chosen field, was conferred with the rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) in 1997. Dr. Osanakpo (SAN) is a recipient of the order of the Papal Knight of St. Gregory the Great, conferred by His Holiness, Pope John Paul II in 1992. He is listed in the International Biographical Centre, Cambridge as one of the 2000 intellectuals of the 21st Century.

Okey Nwosu

Mr. Okey Nwosu is Group Managing Director, Chief Executive Officer and Director of First Inland Bank Plc. He graduated from the University of Benin in 1985 with a First Class Hons. Bachelors of Engineering Degree in Petroleum Engineering and proceeded to the University of Port Harcourt where he obtained a Masters Degree in Natural Gas Engineering. To consolidate his managerial skills, he obtained a Masters Degree in Business Administration from the University of Lagos. Prior to joining First Atlantic Bank Plc in August 2002, he worked with Dowell. Schlumberger Nigeria Limited as an Engineer. He also gathered experience at Arthur Andersen, where he trained and qualified as a Chartered Accountant. He joined Diamond Bank Limited in 1991 as the Pioneer Financial Controller and Head of Systems. While there, he spear-headed the setting up of the bank's accounting and information systems. He rose to the position of General Manager and Head of Regional Businesses, Up-Country of Diamond Bank Limited. He was appointed Deputy Managing Director of First Atlantic Bank Plc in 2002 and Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of the bank in 2003. He is Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria. He is also Alumnus of several business schools among them are: Lagos Business School, Harvard Business School, The Wharton School, Graduate School of Business, Stanford, California and INSEAD, France.

Dayo Famoroti

Mr. Dayo Famoroti is Executive Director of First Inland Bank Plc. He holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Lagos. He also attended the Columbia University Graduate School of Business in USA. He started his banking career with Guaranty Trust Bank Plc and subsequently worked in FSB International Bank Plc and Equitorial Trust Bank Limited before joining First Atlantic Bank Plc. He is Member of the Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM) and Associate of the Institute of Directors (IoD).

Danburam Nuhu

Mr. Danburam Abubakar Nuhu is Executive Director of First Inland Bank Plc. He holds a Bachelors Degree in Economics from University of Maiduguri and a Masters in Banking and Finance from Beyero University Kano. He is Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Treasury Management and Institute of Economist of Nigeria and member of its governing body. He is also Member of Nigerian Institute of Management, Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria, Institute of Chartered Management Accountants and Certified Pension Institute of Nigeria and the Institute of Strategic Management.

Danjuma Ocholi

Mr. Danjuma Kadiri Ocholi is Executive Director of First Inland Bank Plc. He holds a Bachelors of Science Degree in Business Administration from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria and obtained a Masters degree in Business Administration from the University of Lagos. He began his career at the Nigerian Stock Exchange and has subsequently worked in banks including NAL Merchant Bank Plc, FSB International Bank Plc and NUB International Bank Limited. He was until December 31, 2005, the Managing Director of NUB International Bank Limited. A recipient of several national and international awards including the Dr. Kwame Nkrumah Outstanding Merit Award, Danjuma Ocholi is Fellow of Institute of Credit Administration and Associate of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers. He is an alumnus of the Harvard Business School, which is part of the Harvard University. He has attended many executive education programs at the Kellog School of Management, Northwestern University, the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania and the Graduate School of Business, Stanford University, California, USA.

Nechi Ezeako

Iheanyichukwu Anyadiegwu

Dr. Iheanyichukwu Ishmael Anyadiegwu is Non-Executive Director of First Inland Bank Plc. He is also Member of the Audit Committee of the Company. He is a renowned Medical Practitioner trained at the Kalinin State Medical Insitute, Russia. He later rose to the position of a consultant at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Lovanium, Kinshasa, Zaire. He is a Fellow of the International Academy of Photology, New York, West African College of Surgeons and International College of Surgeons, Chicago. He is a recipient of an award for his contribution to medical practice in Nigeria and has five scientific publications to his credit. Dr. Anyadiegwu has held several public offices in Imo State.

Agnes Ebubedike

Ms. Agnes Ebubedike is Non-Executive Director of First Inland Bank Plc. She is Member of the Audit Committee of the Company. She holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Accounting from the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria and a Masters degree also in Accounting from the University of Lagos. She has experience in accounting, business administration and consulting including the management of Non-Governmental organizations. She has worked in various organizations, including Nigeria Tobacco Company, IPWA and Bond Bank Limited before joining the First Inland Bank Plc in 2005. She is also an Associate member of Nigeria Institute of Management.

Emmanuel Efobi

Sir Emmanuel Okey Efobi is Non-Executive Director of First Inland Bank Plc. He obtained a Bachelors of Science degree in Building Technology from the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. He thereafter worked with the then Standard Bank of Nigeria (now First Bank of Nigeria Plc), after which he went into private business. He set up Foby Engineering Limited. He is Member of several professional bodies and a recipient of the national honor of Member of the Order of the Niger (MON).

Kenneth Odogwu

Mr. Kenneth E. Odogwu is Non-Executive Director of First Inland Bank Plc. He holds a Bachelors of Arts degree in History; Bachelors of Science in Economics; Bachelors of Law from the Nigerian Law School, Lagos and obtained an MBA in General Management and Finance from Stem Business School, NYU, New York, USA in 1996. He has many years of experience as a Legal Practitioner. He is CEO of The Odogwu Group of Companies. He is also the Chairman of Royal Exchange Plc and sits on several other boards.

Ernest Oji

Mr. Ernest I. Oji is Non-Executive Director of First Inland Bank Plc. He holds a Civil Engineering degree from the University of Benin and started his career at the Central Bank of Nigeria. He is presently the Managing Director/CEO of Ikoyi Hotels Limited Lagos and Director in several other companies.

Alhaji Zannah

Mr. Alhaji Lamba Zannah has been Non-Executive Director of First Inland Bank Plc since September 2008. He holds a Masters Degree in Business Analysis from Lancaster University, England. He has served in the banking industry for over two decades before retiring voluntarily to become a Farmer/Industrialist. He has worked in various areas of former NAL Bank Plc until 2003 when he was appointed Managing Director/CEO of the former Inland Bank Plc. He successfully consolidated the Bank in 2005 to become First Inland Plc and became the pioneer Deputy Managing Director until his voluntary retirement from the Executive Management in 2006. He is presently the Chairman of Gurara Bottling Company, Woloji Farms Ltd, Farsha Millers Ltd, Value Plus Global Investment Ltd, among others.
