Citrix Systems, Inc., incorporated on April 17, 1989, develops and sells products and services that enable delivery of applications and data over public, private or hybrid clouds or networks, to virtually any type of device. The Company operates through two segments: Enterprise and Service Provider, and Mobility Apps. The Company's license updates and maintenance includes subscription advantage, technical support services, hardware maintenance and software maintenance. Subscription Advantage provides customers the access to the latest product version updates when made available during their membership term. These updates include changes to the product architecture and updates to the feature set of a product. Technical Support Services are designed to address a range of challenges facing its customers' information technology (IT) environments. The Company offers support-level options, global coverage and personalized relationship management. Post-sale technical support is offered through Citrix-operated support centers located in the United States, Ireland, Japan, Hong Kong, Australia, Singapore and India. The Company also provides technical advice to distributors, resellers, service providers and entities with which it has a technology relationship.
Hardware Maintenance provides technical support from Citrix experts to diagnose and resolve issues encountered with appliances. It also offers the software upgrades and replacement of malfunctioning appliances to minimize organizational downtime. Software Maintenance combines around the clock unlimited support with product version upgrades when available.
The Company's professional services include Citrix Consulting, and Product Training and Certification. Citrix Consulting helps guide the implementation of Citrix technologies and solutions. Citrix Consulting focuses on strategic engagements with enterprise customers who have complex, mission-critical, or large-scale Citrix deployments. Communications Cloud includes GoToMeeting, GoToWebinar, GoToTraining, OpenVoice and Grasshopper. The GoToMeeting product is used for online meetings, sales demonstrations and collaborative gatherings. GoToWebinar is a Webinar product that allows organizations to present online to geographically dispersed audiences. GoToWebinar includes features, such as full-service registration with real-time reports; customized branding; automated e-mail templates; polling and survey capabilities; a Webinar dashboard for monitoring attendance and participation; presenter controls for changing presenters; high-definition Webcam sharing for approximately six organizers and panelists, and voice over Internet protocol (VoIP) and toll-based phone options.
GoToTraining is an online training product that enables individuals and enterprises to provide interactive training sessions to customers and employees in any location. GoToTraining users can create curriculums for their students from a Mac or PC without training or IT support; attendees can join from a Mac, PC, iPad, iPhone or Android device. GoToTraining includes features, such as full-service registration with real-time reports; materials; automated e-mail templates; polling and survey capabilities, as well as testing, and high-definition Webcam sharing for approximately six participants and VoIP and toll-based phone options. OpenVoice is a reservation-less audio conferencing service that provides Web-based account tools, which allows user provisioning and audio meeting controls for users to manage audio conferences without operator assistance. Workflow Cloud includes ShareFile, GoToMyPC and GoToAssist. ShareFile is cloud-based file sharing and storage solution built for business. ShareFile protects client data throughout the storage and transfer process, using approximately 256-bit encryption and secure sockets layer (SSL) or transport layer security (TLS) encryption protocols for transfer and approximately 256-bit encryption for files at rest on ShareFile servers.
