Kingboard Chemical Holdings Limited is an investment holding company. The Company is engaged in the manufacture of laminates, copper foil, glass fabric, glass yarn, bleached kraft paper, printed circuit boards (PCBs), chemicals, liquid crystal displays (LCDs) and magnetic products. The Company is organized into four operating divisions: laminates, PCBs, chemicals and others. It is an integrated electronics materials manufacturer, specializing in the production of laminates, including glass epoxy laminates, paper laminates and CEM laminates. The Company also produces other chemical products, such as polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and coke. PCB division offers single, double and multi-layer PCBs to People’s Republic of China and Hong Kong-based electronic manufacturers. During the year ended December 31, 2008, the Company acquired a Taiwanese PCB shop in Suzhou.
