BRIEF: For the six months ended 30 June 2009, China Telecom Corporation Limited's revenues increased 14% to RMB103.15B. Net income decreased 29% to RMB9B. Revenues reflect an increase in sales from internet operations, higher contribution from integrated information application services and increased income from value-added services. Net income was offset by higher network operations & support expense and a rise in personnel expenses.
