Hana Financial Group Inc is a Korea-based financial holding company. The Company operates its business through subsidiaries under four main business sectors: banking, trust, foreign exchange business and credit card business. Its banking business provides deposits, loans, credit cards and other related services. The trust business offers money trust, property trust and public trust. The foreign exchange business offers discount of exchange rate for main customers and body card service. The credit card business provides various kinds of credit cards and related services. As of December 31, 2008, the Company had six subsidiaries, including Hana Bank, Hanadaetoo Securities Co., Ltd., Hana Capital, Co, Ltd, Hana Life Insurance Co.LTD, Hana I&S and Hana Institute of Finance, as well as three sub-subsidiaries, such as Hana Bank (China) Co., Ltd, PT Bank Hana and Hana Funding Ltd. The Company acquired 100% of a card unit split from Hana Bank, on November 2, 2009.

BRIEF: For the fiscal year ended 31 December 2008, Hana Financial Group's interest income increased 24% to W8.618T. Net interest income after loan loss provision decreased 27% to W1.678T. Net income decreased 63% to W483.45B. Revenues reflect increased income from higher loans and trading securities. Net income after LLP was offset by higher loan loss provision. Net income was offset by lower gain on disposal of securities under equity method.
