TCL Multimedia Technology Holdings Limited is a Hong Kong-based investment holding company. The Company, together with its subsidiaries, is engaged in the manufacture and sale of colour television sets and trading of related components, and manufacture and sale of other audio-visual products. The Company operates through three segments: the television segment manufactures color television sets and trades related components; the home networking segment manufactures audio-visual products, and the others segment comprises information technology and other businesses. The Company has released products ranges, such as X9, E9, M9 and N9 series. During the year ended December 31, 2008, the Company sold 4,184,000 sets of liquid crystal display (LCD) televisions. With the Company's Natural Light technology, E9 is able to automatically adjust the backlight according to the brightness of the particular image signal. In 2008, it also released the three dimension autostereoscopic LCD.

BRIEF: For the nine months ended 30 September 2009, TCL Multimedia Technology Holdings Ltd.'s revenues increased 10% to HK$21.1B. Net income totaled HK$230.1M vs. a loss of HK$255.4M. Revenues reflect an increase in income from the Television PRC segment and higher contribution from Home networking segment. Net income reflects an increase in other revenue & gain, decreased finance costs and the absence of of loss on early redemption of bonds.
