CapitaLand Limited (CapitaLand) is a Singapore-based investment holding company. Through its subsidiaries, the Company operates as a real estate company. CapitaLand’s core businesses in real estate, hospitality and real estate financial services are focused on cities in Asia Pacific, Europe and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries. The Company’s real estate and hospitality portfolio spans about 120 cities in over 20 countries. In March 2009, the Company announced that its indirect subsidiary, Central Hill Limited, was dissolved. In April 2009, the Company dissolved its wholly owned subsidiary, Clover Properties Pte. Ltd. In April 2009, the Company announced that Slamet Pte Ltd, its indirect wholly owned subsidiary, acquired a 30% stake in Guangzhou Slamet Property Co., Ltd (GZ Slamet). In October 2009, the Company established a wholly owned subsidiary, Wealthy Victory Investments Limited.

BRIEF: For the nine months ended 30 September 2009, CapitaLand Limited's revenues increased 4% to SP$2.12B. Net income decreased 86% to SP$167.2M. Revenues reflect an increase in sales of development projects, higher income from Singapore, Chinese, other Asian and Overseas markets. Net income was offset by a rise in cost of sales, lower gross profit margins, presence of loss on results of associates and decreased other operating income.
