Canadian Natural Resources Limited is an independent crude oil and natural gas exploration, development and production company. The Company’s crude oil and natural gas operations are focused in North America, largely in Western Canada; the United Kingdom portion of the North Sea, and Cote d’Ivoire and Gabon in Offshore West Africa. Within Western Canada, the Company is developing its Horizon Oil Sands Project (the Horizon Project) in a series of staged development phases (Phases). The Horizon Project is designed to produce synthetic crude oil through bitumen mining and upgrading operations.
