City Union Bank Limited is an India-based banking company. The Bank operates in four segments: Treasury, Corporate/wholesale banking, Retail Banking and Other Banking Operations. As of March 31, 2009, the Bank’s deposits totaled Rs. 8,207 crores, net advances totaled Rs. 5,645 crores and net investments totaled Rs. 2,397 crores. As of March 31, 2009, the Bank operated 208 branches and 121 automated teller machines. On October 13, 2008, the Bank launched CUB Excel and CUB Apoorva insurance-linked deposit schemes. It provides Internet banking facilities to its customers. The Bank has also tied up with Doha Bank QSC, Qatar & ICICI Bank for e-remittances services for non-resident Indians. The Bank has entered into an agreement with M/s.Wealth Advisors (India) Private Limited for providing wealth management services, including investment advisory. It has introduced short message service (SMS) banking facilities to its customers.

BRIEF: For the three months ended 30 June 2009, City Union Bank Limited's total interest income increased 24% to RS1.85B. Interest income after LLP increased 12% to RS4.4M. Net income increased 20% to RS315.5M. Net income reflects an increase in interest income, a rise in income from investments and higher other income, partially offset by higher capital expenditure and an increase in Employee cost.
