City Developments Limited (CDL) is a property developer and owner, and an investment holding company. It is an international property and hotel conglomerate involved in real estate development and investment, hotel ownership and management, facilities management, as well as the provision of hospitality solutions. The principal activities of the subsidiaries are those of property developers and owners, hotel owners and operators, a club operator and owner, investment in properties and in shares, property management, project management and consultancy services and providers of information technology and procurement services. CDL consists of three principal business segments: hotel operations, property development and rental properties. These segments operate in three geographical areas, Asia, North America and Europe, and Australia and New Zealand. In September 2009, Flair Win Investments Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company, acquired K-El Sun Investments Pte. Ltd.

BRIEF: For the nine months ended 30 September 2009, City Developments Limited's revenues increased 6% to SP$2.35B. Net income applicable to common decreased 13% to SP$416.8M. Revenues reflect an increase in income from the groups Hotel operations. Net income was offset by a decrease in gross margins, lower operating income, a decrease in share of profit of associates and lower share of after tax profit of jointly controlled entities.
