Gateway Distriparks Ltd. is an India-based container, rail and cold chain logistics company. The Company is engaged in container freight station (CFS) and inland container depots (ICD) operations. The Company has four business segments: Container Freight Station, Rail Transportation, Road Transportation and Other Operating Segments (includes cold storage facilities). It has CFS at Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust, Chennai and Visakhapatnam. The Company’s subsidiary, Gateway Rail Freight Limited (GRFL), operates rail linked terminals with customs facilities (dry ports) at Gurgaon and Ludhiana. It also provides rail and transport services from Navi Mumbai. GRFL owns and operates 15 container trains and 235 road trailers covering various domestic/export and import routes across India. The Company, through its joint venture company, Snowman Frozen Foods Ltd. (SFFL), operates cold stores and fleet of refrigerated trucks at various cities across India. It has a 48.94% interest in SFFL.

BRIEF: For the three months ended 30 June 2008, Gateway Distriparks Limited's revenues increased 85% to RS981.8M. Net income increased 12% to RS208.8M. Revenues reflect an increase in income from operation. Net income was offset by an increase in transportation costs, higher staff costs, a rise in dereciation charge and higher other expenses. The Company is a port-based logistics support services company based in India.
