GTL Infrastructure Limited is an independent passive telecom infrastructure provider. The Company is in the business of providing share user infrastructure facilities on build, own and operate basis. Its operations are predominantly only in India. The Company owns 9,411 towers at various stages of completion in 19 telecom circles. Around 90% of the investments in towers are in semi-urban and rural areas. As of March 31, 2009, the Company’s portfolio had 88% ground-based towers (GBT) and 12% roof top towers (RTT). The Company operates through its three associates: GTL Limited, Technology Infrastructure Limited and GTL International Limited.
