Hyflux Water Trust Management Pte Ltd. (the Trustee-Manager) manages the Hyflux Water Trust (HWT). HWT is a pure-play global water business trust that invests in, either directly or indirectly, water-related infrastructure assets, including water treatment plants (WTP), wastewater treatment plants (WWTP) and water recycling plants (WRP).As at December 31, 2008, HWT’s portfolio comprised 17 water plants. As of December 31, 2008, 12 of the 13 plants in HWT’s initial portfolio had been completed. In December 2008, four additional plants (two water treatment plants and two wastewater treatment plants) were acquired from Hyflux Ltd. Hyflux Water Trust Management Pte. Ltd. acts as the Trustee-Manager. In December 2008, Hyflux Ltd. completed the divestment of shares in three of its wholly owned special purpose vehicles to Hyflux Water Trust Management Pte Ltd.
