PT Indosat Tbk is an integrated Indonesian telecommunications network and service provider. The Company provides a complement of national and international telecommunications services in Indonesia. The Company’s products and services include cellular services, fixed telecommunications (voice) services, and multimedia, data communications and Internet (MIDI) services. The Company provides global system for mobile communications (GSM) 900 and 1800 cellular services to approximately 36.5 million cellular subscribers throughout Indonesia as of December 31, 2008. The Company is a provider of international long-distance services in Indonesia. It provides broadband and narrowband MIDI services, including frame relay services, very small aperture terminal (VSAT) services, leased circuits and Internet services directly and through its subsidiaries, Lintasarta and PT Indosat Mega Media (IMM). In March 2009, Qatar Telecom (QTel) Q.S.C. increased its interest in the Company to 65%.

BRIEF: For the nine months ended 30 September 2009, PT Indosat Tbk's revenues totaled RP13.410T, decreased 2% from RP13.649T in the prior year. The Company's net income for the current period totaled RP1.450T, decreased 2% from RP1.473T in the previous year. Revenues reflect a decrease in Cellular business segment. Net income was partially offset by lower interest expense and a presence of gain on foreign exchange.
