MindTree Limited (MindTree), formerly MindTree Consulting Limited, is an international information technology (IT) consulting and implementation company that delivers business solutions through global software development. It is structured into two business units: Research and Development (R&D) Services and IT Services. R&D Services enables faster product realization in the areas of hardware design, embedded software, middleware and testing and through MindTree's own Internet protocol building blocks in the areas of Bluetooth, voice over Internet protocol, IVP6, iSCSI and others in datacom, telecom, wireless, storage, industrial automation, avionics, consumer products and computing. IT Services offer consulting and implementation and post production support for customers in manufacturing, financial services, travel and leisure and other industries. BRIEF: For the six months ended 30 September 2009, Mindtree Consulting Limited's revenues increased 15% to RS6.23B. Net income totaled RS1.07B, up from of RS247.9M. Revenues reflect an increase in income from PE services segment. Net income also reflects a decrease in interest charges and lower provision for bad debts. The Company specializes in It Services, Independent Testing, Infrastructure Management and Technical Support.
