Nortel Networks Corporation (Nortel) supplies end-to-end networking products and solutions that help organizations enhance and simplify communications. BRIEF: For the three months ended 31 March 2009, Nortel Networks Corporation's revenues decreased 37% to $1.73B. Net loss totaled $507M, up from $138M. Revenues reflect a decrease in sales from Carrier Networks, Enterprise Solutions, Metro Ethernet Solutions and LG-Nortel segments. Higher loss reflects a decrease in gross profit margins, an increase gain on sale of businesses and assets and the presence of other operating income vs. an expense.
