Greek Org of Football Prognostics S.A. (OPAP) is a Greek lottery system operator that is primarily engaged in the organization and operation of lottery games, and the management and advertisement of these games. Other activities include the structure of economic, feasibility, technical and commercial studies for lottery, technical or knowledge games for domestic and international public or private parties, as well as the technological support of games. OPAP conducts six numerical lottery games, LOTTO, JOKER, PROTO, SUPER 3, EXTRA 5 and KINO, as well as three games related to sport events, PAME STIHIMA, PROPO and PROPO-GOAL. Its network consists of approximately 5.227 agencies with one or more terminals connected on-line with the central information system in Athens, Greece and in Cyprus. OPAP has fours subsidiaries in Cyprus (OPAP (Cyprus) Ltd, OPAP Glory Ltd, OPAP International Ltd and Glory Technology Ltd) and one in Greece (OPAP Services S.A.).

BRIEF: For the six months ended 30 June 2009, Greek Organization of Football Prognostics' turnover increased less than 1% to EUR2.76B. Net profit decreased 3% to EUR371.2M. Turnover reflects increased revenues from the Company's Lotto, Kino and Joker games. Net profit was offset from a decrease in gross profit margins due to increase in other operating expenses, administrative expenses as well as distribution cost.
