The Civil, Infrastructure and Power business of the Company comprises two elements: civil engineering, building and power, and roads and other infrastructure. BRIEF: For the six moths ended 30 September 2009, Punj Lloyd Limited's revenue increased 4% to RS58.51BB. Net income decreased 30% to RS1.8B. Revenues reflects an increase in income from operations and a rise in income from Engineering & Construction segment. Net income was offset by an increase in materials consumed & cost of goods sold, higher contractor charges, an increase in employees cost and a rise in other expenditure.
