Overview
Rhodia is engaged in the development and production of specialty chemicals. It provides solutions to automotive, electronics, flavors and fragrances, health, personal and home care, consumer, goods, and industrial, through its global enterprises. The Company’s operating activities were organized into six global enterprises: Polyamide, Novecare, Silcea, Energy Services, Acetow, and Eco Services. On February 27, 2009, Rhodia completed the acquisition of McIntyre Group Ltd. In 2008, the Company discontinued its Organics segment.
