BRIEF: For the nine months ended 30 September 2009, RHB Capital Berhad's interest income decreased 14% to RM3.12B. Net interest income after LLP decreased 21% to RM2.65B. Net income increased 2% to RM865M. Net interest income reflects a decrease in income from corporate & investment banking and lower income from treasury & money market segment. Net income benefited from a decrease in interest expenses and the presence of impairment gain vs. a loss.
