BRIEF: For the nine months ended 30 September 2009, Societe Generale SA's net banking interest income increased 1% to EUR16.6B. Net interest income after loan loss provision decreased 14% to EUR12.66B. Net income for the period decreased 76% to EUR457M. Net banking interest income reflects increased performance across the Company's activities. Net income was offset by increased management costs.
