Subhash Projects and Marketing Limited (SPML) is an infrastructure development company. The Company operates in the field of water, power, environment, infrastructure, manufacturing and technology. SPML has executed more than 400 projects across India. It has four business segments: construction, wind power, hydro power generation and others. Construction segment consists of execution of turnkey projects. Wind power segment consists of electricity generated from wind farms. Hydro power generation consists of electricity generated from hydel projects and buying energy from seller/surplus power producers, and selling to buyer/ deficit state utilities. Others consist of manufacturing of pipes, management of waste and other utility management. The Company’s subsidiaries include Neogal Power Company Private Ltd, Awa Power Company Private Ltd, Luni Power Company Private Ltd and IQU Power Company Private Ltd.

BRIEF: For the fiscal year ended 31 March 2009, Subhash Projects & Marketing Ltd.'s revenues increased 10% to RS13.16B. Net income decreased 27% to RS479.2M. Revenues reflect an increase in sales from operations and increase in other income. Net income was offset by an increase in consumption of raw materials & direct expenses on projects, higher staff cost, increase in depreciation and increase in interest expenses.
