BRIEF: For the nine months ended 30 September 2009, Stryker Corporation's revenues decreased 2% to $4.89B. Net income decreased 8% to $801.4M. Revenues reflect lower income from MedSurg Equipment segment, a fall in Domestic segment sales. Net income also reflects an increase in cost of sales, a decrease in gross profit margin, lower other income, the presence of restructuring charges and reduced operating margin.
