Tourism Holdings Limited (THL) is a New Zealand-based company. The Company is engaged in the tourism operations of transport and attractions. The principal activities of the Company are motorhome rental and manufacturing and attractions. Its operations include car and motorhome rentals in Australia and New Zealand. THL is the provider of holiday rental vehicles in Australia and New Zealand under the Maui, Britz, Backpacker and Explore More brands. The majority of its rental vehicles are provided by the manufacturing company Ci Munro. In addition, the Company also operates Kiwi Experience and the Discover Waitomo group in New Zealand and Tourist Transport Fiji, Feejee Experience and Great Sights in Fiji. The Company’s subsidiaries include THL Group Australia Pty Limited, Tourism Holdings Australia Pty Limited, Tourism Transport (Fiji) Limited and Waitomo Caves Limited. On December 16, 2008, Tourism Holdings Limited sold its 49% interest in InterCity Holdings Limited.

BRIEF: For the fiscal year ended 30 June 2009, Tourism Holdings Limited's revenues decreased 2% to NZ$169.3M. Net loss from continuing operations totaled NZ$1.4M, Vs. an income of NZ$7.6M. Revenues reflect a decrease in income from sales of goods. Net loss suffered from decrease in other operating income, an increase in administrative expenses, higher other operating expenses and lower operating margins.
