BRIEF: For the fiscal year ended 31 December 2009, Wartsila Corporation's turnover increased 14% to EUR5.26B. Net profit for the period increased 2% to EUR389M. Turnover reflects an increase in sales in the Ship Power and Power Plants business segments as well as increased sales in all geographical segments. Net income for the period was partially offset by an increase in depreciation, amortization and impairment charges.
