Oct 28 - Pakistan suffers its worst militant attack in two years as a car bomb kills more than 80 people and injures around 100 in the city of Peshawar.
The bomb exploded in the busy Peepal Mandi market street in Peshawar's old city, sparking a fire that engulfed several buildings.
The blast came several hours after U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton arrived in Pakistan pledging a fresh start in relations with an increasingly embattled partner in the struggle against Islamic militancy.
Pakistani forces are engaged in fighting against Taliban militants in their South Waziristan stronghold.
