Feb 5 - More than 40 percent of delegates are up for grabs on Super Tuesday, the closest thing to a national primary.
In the Democratic race, a Reuters/C-SPAN/Zogby poll shows Illinois Senator Barack Obama leading New York Senator Hillary Clinton by 13 percentage points in California, a key state because it has a fifth of the delegates needed to win the nomination. Among the Republicans, ex-Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney continues to lead in California in the poll.
Fred Katayama reports from New York.
