Massive U.S. meat recall
Feb. 18 - A California meatpacker accused of animal cruelty has been ordered to make the largest U.S. meat recall on record -- 143 million lbs or 65 million kilos.
Federal agriculture officials say most of the raw and frozen beef products have already been eaten. But a big slice of the recalled meat was destined for school lunch programmes across the U.S.
