Water shortage in Antarctica
Mar 18 - The Argentine base in Antarctica may be surrounded by water, but getting a drop to drink is a major effort.
Because much of the water is frozen at the Argentine base during winter, clothes are washed only once a week; dishes are carefully scrubbed in two sinks, and showers are only allowed in winter once a day.
