Hitler waxwork sparks controversy

(01:18) Report

Jul 3 - The new Berlin branch of the Madame Tussauds waxwork museum will include an Adolf Hitler figure.

The museum says the dictator is part of German history, and that visitors want to see him.

The waxwork of Hitler is watched by security cameras and museum officials and cordoned off to stop visitors getting close to him. There are also signs asking visitors to refrain from posing for photos with Hitler "out of respect for the millions of people who died during World War Two".

But critics say it is tasteless to display Hitler and it could attract neo-Nazis.
