Nov 26 - Large plumes of smoke were seen rising from top of the landmark Taj hotel in India's financial capital Mumbai. Local TV reported that unknown assailants had earlier attacked the hotel, taking hostages, including Western tourists.
The hotel was targeted in a series of deadly coordinated attacks that have killed at least 80 people. and injured at least 250. An organization calling itself the Deccan Mujahideen claimed it was behind the attacks, local TV channels said.
