US job losses at 670,000 in December
Jan. 7 - Americans received a harsh look at their labor market as a private report showed job losses of around 670,000 in December.
Another report provided an even bleaker view of 2008 with the rate of layoff announcements up a whopping 275 percent over the previous year.
