Divert your eyes from the polls and mute the talking heads on television. Because this Mexican warlock is fanning out the cards to the future. In the world according to Antonio Vasquez, U.S. President Barack Obama won't be winning a second term in office. (SOUNDBITE) Antonio Vasquez, Mexico's grand warlock, saying (Spanish): "I feel Obama will lose. They will attack him a lot. The Republicans have all the money in the United States and so they are putting a lot of pressure on him to make mistakes." Furthering his predictions, Vasquez says that Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez will not recover from cancer but that Brazil's former president Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva and Argentina's President Cristina Fernandez, will. (SOUNDBITE) Antonio Vasquez, Mexico's grand warlock, saying (Spanish): "He'll continue with his illness (Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez) but he won't accept it because power is stronger than anything else. He'll continue to fight, it's not my wish, but I don't think he'll push ahead with elections this year because he'll have a strong relapse." He also predicted an invasion in Syria, but he didn't say by whom. (SOUNDBITE) Antonio Vasquez, Mexico's grand warlock, saying (Spanish): "I see more problems with Syria than Iraq and Korea. Syria is against the Islamic world and against Europe and the United States. There could be an invasion there or more deaths and deaths and deaths." Vasquez is crowning Mexican presidential front-runner Enrique Pena Nieto as the winner for their upcoming elections. His predictions are bold, but he doesn't claim to have all the power, stipulating that any of the following forecasts can be altered by prayers, personal action and even magic. Kilmeny Duchardt, Reuters.
