Feb. 16 - French President Nicolas Sarkozy launches his re-election campaign with a pledge to listen to voters.

He's one of the most unpopular presidents in French history but Nicholas Sarkozy is determined to remain in power. Formally launching his reelection campaign on French television Sarkozy promised to get the unemployed back to work. He'll listen to voters and is pushing economic reforms to prevent from being dragged down by the eurozone debt crisis and it's his duty to stand again he says -- could nuke bomb solution to. Not to call on the French people will be like abandoning my postal. It would be like a ship's captain in the middle of the storm saying you know I'm tired I'm giving up -- -- film -- don't it. And his close ties with the German chancellor and in the medical give him much needed credibility on the biggest stage. It's shaping up to be a hard fought campaign.
