All of this takes place against a backdrop of increased attacks along Israel's border with Gaza. At least 21 Palestinians including seven children and a pregnant woman have been killed since the cross border exchanges started. Israel attributes their lower number of casualties to these interceptor missiles, which they say have captured over 100 rockets from Gaza over the past few days. In Jerusalem, Prime Minster Benjamin Netanyahu warned Hamas they Israel has not ruled out a ground attack.
