A hospital stands in ruins in Aleppo.
Army shells hit a building bear the hospitalized this week killing at least 15 people.
Most of the dead were fighters but a doctor and three children also died in the attack.
The hospital is in ruins.
Items once used to save lives have become debris.
With no credible peace plan on the horizon, the number of dead rises rapidly by the day
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights says more than 40,000 people have been killed in Syria since the uprising began in March 2011.
