STORY: British soldiers serving in Afghanistan gathered in Camp Tombstone on Tuesday to celebrate Christmas over a meal and some healthy competition.
Hundreds of soldiers from different camps in Afghanistan got together for a Christmas feast and to spend time with their family away from home.
Britain will cut troop numbers in Afghanistan to 5,200 by the end of 2013 from the current 9,000, Prime Minister David Cameron said earlier this month.
The British government plans to bring most of its troops home by the end of 2014.
