Some tough words about the conflict in Syria from British Foreign Minister William Hague during a G8 meeting in London: (SOUNDBITE) (English) BRITISH FOREIGN SECRETARY WILLIAM HAGUE, SAYING: "The world has failed so far in its responsibilities and continues to do so. The United Nations Security Council, as I said in parliament the last time we discussed this, has not fulfilled its responsibilities on Syria because it is divided. That division continues. Have we solved that division at this meeting? No, we didn't expect to do so." In this latest video obtained by Reuters from a social media website, rebel fighters fire machine guns at what they say are forces loyal to President Bashar al-Assad. In a shootout at another location, a smashed bust of Assad's father lay on the ground....the cameraman says "he is going to be immortal in hell forever". The two year old conflict has claimed the lives of some 70,000 people. Reuters cannot verify the content of this video.
